This year’s High School First Year Chemistry Exam was held on Saturday April 22, 2023, from 8:45 AM to 11:15 AM in McCarthy Hall, California State University Fullerton, 800 N State College Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92831. A total of 193 students from 27 High Schools participated.
The High School Chemistry Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2023, in the Grimm Student Union at Concordia University, Irvine. Individual winners will receive cash awards and winning teams will receive plaques for their school. Dinners for student winners and their teachers will be provided compliments of OCACS.

Reservations for 2023 Awards Dinner will be open according to the following schedule:
Invited Teachers and Student Winners: Open Monday May 1st, 2023, at 12 noon, and close Wednesday, May 10th, at 8pm.
Guests of Teachers & Student Winners (each student may invite up to two paying guests): Open Sunday May 7th, 2023, at 12 noon and close Wednesday, May 10th, at 8pm.
ACS Members & Guests: Open Sunday May 7th, 2023, at 12 noon and close Wednesday, May 10th, at 8pm.
