Orange County students who qualified for Team USA at the 2019 International Chemistry Olympiad
Last year, Edward Jin of Beckman High School, Irvine, and Anton Ni of University High School, Irvine, were in the small group of students selected from all around the country to go to the US Chemistry Olympiad Study Camp, but they were not among the top four students who actually made the US National Team. This year they went to Study Camp again, and this time they did make the cut to be part of Team USA, and they went to Paris to represent the US at the 51st International Chemistry Olympiad 2019 in Paris, France.
And there's more! Both of our OC students won gold medals! Anton Ni and Edward Jin placed 28th and 30th in the whole world! Read more on:
