Old Chem-Oly Registration

High School students nominated by their high school teacher are invited to participate in the 2020 ACS Orange County Chemistry Olympiad competition on Saturday, March 7, 2020, from 8:45AM-11:00AM, at the Business Sciences and Technology Innovation Center (BSTIC), Irvine Valley College, Irvine CA 92618. (Note: Competitors will have to purchase a parking pass at the kiosk if they wish to park in the campus lot.)

This year, the ACS Orange County Chemistry Olympiad (1st round of the National Competition) was held on March 7, 2020. The US National Chemistry Olympiad is scheduled to be on April 25, 2020, and winners will go to the National Study Camp in June.

The 52nd International Chemistry Olympiad is scheduled to be held July 6-15, 2020, in Istanbul, Turkey.

Registration for this year’s Orange County Chemistry Olympiad exam opens at 12 noon on Wednesday February 19, 2020, and closes at midnight on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Self-registration is open from 7am to midnight on Sunday March 1st.
