The 25th Annual ChemLuminary Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. The theme was “Harnessing the Power of our Volunteers.” Our Section was nominated for the following ChemLuminary Awards:
- ,Outstanding High School Student Program Award sponsored by the Society Committee on Education
- Outstanding NCW Event for a Specific Audience, sponsored by the Committee on Community Activities
- Outstanding U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad, sponsored by the Society Committee on Education
The Orange County Section won the Outstanding High School Student Program Award for the conducting the High School First Year Chemistry Exam and High School Dinner for many years. Click here for more information.
