The Orange County section won 3 ChemLuminary Awards in 2017
• “Best Overall Local Section” sponsored by the ACS National Minority Affairs Committee,
• “Outstanding Regional Meeting” sponsored by the ACS National Committee on Meetings & Expositions, and
• “Outstanding NCW Event for a Specific Audience”, sponsored by the ACS National Committee on Community Activities.
The Awards ceremony was held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington DC on August 22, 2017.
