National Chemistry Week 2008
was held at the Santa Ana Zoo
on Sunday, October 12, 2008
This year's theme:
Having a Ball with Chemistry
Chemistry students from 10 or more Orange County colleges set up demonstrations and hands-on chemistry activities for the hundreds of children who visited the Santa Ana Zoo that day, including many from the Hispanic neighborhoods nearby, as well as to Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops.
